Personal Online Security
Increasingly, everyone should take their personal online security seriously, and take appropriate security measures to stay safe and secure. Below we have created a few tutorials to help you through the basics.
Our advice? On each of your phone or tablet Apps, take a minutes and explore its "Settings" options - and when available ALWAYS turn on "Two-Factor-Authentication".
Two Factor Authentication
Two Factor Authentication (aka 2FA) adds extra security around your important App accounts, by sending you a SMS PIN code to your phone, so to log on you need your password AND your mobile phone - thus a hacker gaining access to your password is still enable to logon. The Two-Factor-Authentication process only occurs when the App detects your account is logging on to a different device.
Especially important for all your social media accounts, and any with your credit card connected to it.
